Moving poly, steel, or fiber drums safely is one of the more hazardous tasks in any warehouse, manufacturing facility, or chemical storage environment. The Wesco 240083 50BT Drum Truck is purpose-built to eliminate that risk. Unlike standard hand trucks that use nose prongs or chime hooks — which can puncture or damage poly drums — the 50BT uses a patented wide-belt and wide-feet design that cradles the drum securely without any contact points that could cause damage. The result is safer handling for both the drum and the operator, every single time.

The heavy-duty 1" structural pipe frame with double-welded joints gives this truck the backbone to handle up to 1,000 lbs. across 30, 55, and 85 gallon drums in any material — poly, steel, or fiber. Four wheels — two 10" and two 6" mold-on rubber — deliver smooth, stable transport over hard floors, and the twin handles give operators the control needed to maneuver full drums through tight spaces. The 50BT also doubles as a drain stand — just tilt it back on its 4-wheel base and the drum is angled at the ideal drainage position, with the belt centered at 32" from the floor.

Self-standing design keeps the truck upright on its own, or use the kickstand for convenient storage between uses. The safety belt is replaceable (Part #150303) for long service life. Powder-coated finish resists corrosion. Made in the USA and built for the demands of daily industrial use.
